New Covid-19 e-learning on recovery and rehabilitation available

CIMSPA has been working with a group of experts to support the development of e-learning content specifically for recovery and rehabilitation for individuals recovering from Covid-19.
As the Covid-19 pandemic continues we recognise that those who recover from the virus often continue to display a range of physical and psychological symptoms that require therapy and support.
This interactive e-learning programme aims to provide health and care staff, including allied health professionals, fitness professionals and carers with strategies and techniques to manage key symptoms experienced by people recovering from Covid-19.
Four 20-minute e-learning sessions cover breathlessness, exercise, cough and fatigue, with knowledge checks occurring at key points.
Although the sessions interconnect, they can be completed as individual modules.
On completion of the sessions, a certificate can be downloaded and CPD will be allocated to members who complete the training.
Natasha Eason MCIMSPA, Education and Apprenticeships Officer at CIMSPA said:“We are excited to be able to promote this free e-learning programme that will develop your understanding of the impact of Covid-19 on individual’s health. We are pleased to have supported such a useful piece of training and hope that this will provide some confidence when supporting clients going through recovery and rehabilitation”.
